One of our top initiatives is to provide more accessible playgrounds to every school in our district. We have started with sensory paths with an end goal of pour in place rubber surfacing to replace all of the wood chips on every playground. Help us reach this goal by donating to our Accessible Playgrounds Initiative!
We are launching a brand new Grant in honor of Ginger Lee Francia. She was an amazing woman that made such a difference in the lives of our students. We are continuing that legacy by providing resources to special needs classrooms. Be sure to check it out!

The mission of the Dysart Special Education PTSA is to work with students, families, school staff and the community to create a more inclusive world for people with disabilities. Providing support and education to students, teachers, and families, empowering them to advocate for themselves and their students in school and in life. Advocating for inclusive, accessible, and universal practices in schools and community. Engaging with the community to create a more inclusive world for people with disabilities from the playground to the board room.
